Role

  • Ensuring the quality, scalability and reliability of complex, multi-tiered, and distributed Web based software
  • Institute QA processes that facilitate rapid development cycles
  • Work closely with engineering and other groups to develop domain expertise
  • Develop test plans both manual and automated to thoroughly test all aspects of our software
  • Regularly collaborate with other engineers, project managers, QA, DBA and operations staff

Skills

  • Experience in web and database testing
  • Technically strong with a good knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Fundamental knowledge of automated testing tools, JAVA, SQL, LINUX
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing
  • Experience in Java/J2EE web application testing and SQL queries
  • STLC and testing fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal, client services skills
  • Outstanding verbal, written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering / mathematics or technical discipline is preferred
  • 1+ years experience in the industry is preferred
