Role

  • Utilise your understanding of software development to develop robust, efficient and secure products
  • Deliver components to project time line
  • Complete enhancements and on-going development to a range of Java applications
  • Requirements analysis, design, coding and testing in Java technologies
  • Communicating clearly with the customer to clarify all requirements
  • Developing creative, innovative and practical solutions
  • Producing clear and maintainable code

Skills

  • Fundamental knowledge in Algorithms, Databases
  • Strong in J2EE APIs including EJBs, Servlets, JSPs, and web services
  • Experience with XML related APIs including SAX and DOM parsers and XML binding frameworks
  • Professional exposure to Spring, Hibernate, JMS, Ant, and Maven
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix, JBOSS, Oracle
  • Excellent interpersonal, client services skills
  • Outstanding verbal, written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or technical discipline is a must
  • Master degree or Postgraduate qualifications would be an added advantage
  • 2+ years experience in the industry
